I'm thinking of buying a CD / MP3 walkman - any recommendations?

My good wife has finally accepted that I need a new CD walkman as my trusty old one (walkman, that is) is slowly dying. I quite like the look of these new fangled CD and MP3 players that are around now, like the Sony ATRAC walkmen, so I can store more music on a CD and not have to carry a lot of CDs with me. I don't really download MP3s off the Net, but do burn my own mix CDs with Nero, and have some MP3s and WMAs around on my hard drive.

Has anyone any experience of these and any particular gripes or recommendations for makes and models? I've looked at Amazon and the reviews there are typically useless. I'm thinking of spending up to around £100 on the walkman, so any advice at all would currently be useful advice.

i have a really fcken cheap thing, a zeus z-2mp3 walkman. it cost about $120 aust (50 UK...not sure) and its good. sounds fine. lifetime? i dunno. had it a year.
only problem (and i dunno if this is across the board) when playing mp3's you can only display the directory folder name or the first track at each letter. so you burn 10 albums with folder names...fine. you can jump between albums easy. but if you have a disc of say 100 tracks not in folders: its frustrating to find something.

I have a (looks) Panasonic SL-SK418. It's great. £60 from Richer Sounds, tough as boots, good sound, I can use it while running and it won't jog. Even the headphones are OK. My mate swears by the equivalent Sony, which is a bit bigger, but shows the track names.

My MP3 CD player has a "+10" button which skips 10 tracks, which is a great idea with those 150 song discs.

OOh. What sort is that?

Mine just displays folder # and track #. I had to keep tracklists for all my mp3 CDs. Which, I guess, is a good thing.
