What are some bands you got sick of within a week?

Mine are The Vines, All American Rejects, Trapt, Avril, Nora Jones, Jack Johnson, John Mayer, and Evanescence. That's all I can think of right now.(Some of these I think took only the begining of one of their songs for me to not like them.)

By saying "their's is worse," it sounds to me like you're saying "Lust For Life" is bad! This will not do, Aja.

Sorry. How about this:

Jet is ripping of Iggy Pop's "Lust For Life" and making it sound bad.

Is that better. I don't really know how to put it. The bottom line is that Jet sucks.

I have Jet's record (produced by none other than Dave Sardy of Barkmarket, who also produced Skeleton Key and Cop $hoot Cop). I quite liked that single ("Are You Gonna Be My Girl"), but most of the album is mawkish pseudo-countryesque ballads of the variety the Rolling Stones used to attempt. Yawn. Still, good single, though. Shame it's being used to hawk iPods.

In the latest Rolling Stone, Albert Handjob Jr. of the Strokes decries Jet by saying they look like posers. Yeah, like he should fuckin' talk.

I've never heard the Jet discussed here, but I resent them anyway for having the same name as Martin Gordon's great 70s glam rock band.

Jet's a bad name for a band, I'll say that.

Why do I have the Jet album? `Cos it was dirt cheap, produced by Dave Sardy and I liked the single.

Well, I'd have preferred that too, but people don't just randomly wander up to me and give me compact discs as a regular occurence.
