Hey Jordan (Cohen)...

Just saying hi again! The only "metal board" I still hang out on occasionally is the SSMT forum; beyond that, I've pretty much quite the messageboard scene. Metal has become a smaller subsection of my overall tastes, so i'm less inclined to follow it religiously. I still like it when it's well done though, of course. My tastes have moved moretowards some weirder areas, though not so much in the jazz direction. The last jazz lp i bought was Stan Getz's "Captian Marvel".

I've been lurking here since Oystein told me about it.

Hi! (a thread with my name on it...I am OTM!)

I vaguely remembered an Oystein from the old days, I wondered if he was that one. I haven't looked at SSMT for years, I will.

Captain Marvel is good (La Fiesta!). Kinda interesting that Getz, who I love for being so relaxed, would hire a quartet packing that kind of fire.

So what are you listening to?

Re: SSMT, is Ch3dsey still active? Haven't talked to him in ages...

I'm alive, I'm alive!

Spent a little time in the rugged South American Andes after a plane crash, but I'M ALIVE!

Is EVERYBODY on ILM these days?

Siegbran (eofor), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 21:33 (twenty-one years ago)

You can blame Oystein for pointing out this thread. You can also blame him for anything else going on in your life.

He's also responsible for that smell over on the "new messages" section.

God, a couple months ago I looked up the Perpetual Motion board (for the first time in years and years) during a stint of mind-numbing work boredom, and they were discussing the same bands and THE SAME ALBUMS as when I was in high school.

Yes, well, you know what they say, once you've heard "Keeper of the seven keys" and "Control and resistance", there's really no reason to ever buy anything new ever again.
