Junior Jack-Da Hype

As recommended by Siegbran, like Cosmos meets Don't You Want Me baby for a slick 80s tune. Maybe Junior Jack's best track yet, even if he is shit doing anything except for Thrill Me.

Thrill Me is one of the cheekiest rip-offs in house. i liked it but only because Daft Punk's 'Burnin' was so awesome that that just rubbed off on it enough.

Yes, my initial reaction was: he got new bass sounds! It's a great track, yes. VERY similar to Linus Loves "The Terrace/Stand Back", really, and I like how he gives the "Don't You Want Me Baby" melody a little twist instead of just nicking it completely.

Do you still like that Combostar In My Soul track too?

Siegbran (eofor), Friday, 7 November 2003 12:12 (twenty-one years ago)

linus loves have done a prince cover apparently! what song is it?

nebbesh (nebbesh), Friday, 7 November 2003 12:43 (twenty-one years ago)

Stand Back.

I am enjoying the Combostar track yeah Siegbran, it's a bit of a weird one. I'm starting a club next month so I think I'll test it out. Oh and that Waldorf record is fucking weird!

Ronan starts a club! i have an even better reason to visit Dublin now

Clubbers are doing it for themselves etc, we'll have Danny Tenaglia by Christmas

Ronan (Ronan), Friday, 7 November 2003 13:24 (twenty-one years ago)

"Stand Back" is a cover of a Stevie Nicks track written by Prince.

Siegbran (eofor), Friday, 7 November 2003 13:53 (twenty-one years ago)

I should have put inverted commas beside "clubbers are doing it for themselves", I hope everyone realises I would never say that non-ironically.

Ronan (Ronan), Friday, 7 November 2003 14:08 (twenty-one years ago)

So the Danny Tenaglia bit is true?

Siegbran (eofor), Friday, 7 November 2003 15:04 (twenty-one years ago)

Yeah, he is doing a 3 week set, with 4 records.

Ronan (Ronan), Friday, 7 November 2003 15:05 (twenty-one years ago)

(is overjoyed)

Siegbran (eofor), Friday, 7 November 2003 15:08 (twenty-one years ago)

stevem (blueski), Friday, 7 November 2003 15:44 (twenty-one years ago)
