which has Kev's album (can't remember the title - 'such hunger for love'?) and the EP with the Sound. More interesting is the track with New Order, recorded soon after Ian's death at Sheffield Western Works studio. It's often said that he auditioned as singer for NO, but this was a one-off and he wasn't seriously considered.
There are loads of recent solo albums, none of which I've heard. I think they're via internet-only releases. He's gigging again too.

The live version of "Haystack" from A Factory Quartet is much better than the version with New Order. I quite like the whole side by him, actually.
I would say classic, myself.

Kevin has started a new psychedelic band, "Psychedelic Thunder Jesus" who are hotly tipped to be signing shortly to premier Leicester label, Metal Bongo. From local musicians website Pineapster :
Kevin Hewick: Psychadelic Thunder Jesus is the quintessential rock expereicence. A bold, forward looking raucous concept around the future of rock bristling with avibrant and unique retroenergy seated firmely in the past.
KHTJ has created a sonic tour de force, a concept band reeling the beautiful, harrowing yet ultimately uplifiting tale of Kevin's rise from the ranks of lowly folk troubador to pan dimensional semi deity. The audience will gasp with wonderment as he transcends physical boundaries and sheds the trails of modern man and dons the mantle of a living sonic god, sailing upon sees of reverb, chorus and amplitude.
"quite simply the greatest musical experience of my, or any other, generation. stunning, visceral and beautiful in equal measure.I urge you to seek out the Thunder Jesusin yourself!"
