"Grebo" the UK version of "geek" (US). Jesus Jones, Ned's Atomic Dustbin, PWEI (unfairly grouped); it wasn't a real genre, it was a reactionary name. With Mantronix and Kylie in the charts, what were they reacting to? I can see when US hair bands bitch about Nirvana invading their macho turf, but...
