The ...Soul Machine fucking release date was pushed from Oct. 7th back to Jan. 16th for no apparent reason. For this madness and cruelty I will never forgive Arista.

is the Timbaland-produced single the one with Cee-Lo singing the refrain from "I'll Be Around" and then something about how "the most beautiful things in the world come out my mouth"...? Good stuff. The last Cee-Lo record was a little one-dimensional, but it definitely had its moments ("Gettin Grown", "Super Chicken") and I'll throw on a side of it every now and then.

this album totally did not live to the modest expectations implied by the $4 I spent on the clean version I found in a used bin. all the "I can sing AND I can rap" bragging got real real tiresome, especially when a lot of his raps are just wack. a few tracks might be growers but all in all zzzz.
