Curiously in Print

was shopping the other day and came across two records i was shocked to see still in print -- surf punks' "my beach" (talent-impaired, one-joke beach bums), and off broadway's "on" (late 70s milwaukee power poppers completely ignored outside of the midwest). those are two random examples, but what else has surprised you to remain in print?

Mute Records don't delete anything, do they? A fine policy in itself, granted. But on one hand you have Depeche Mode, and on the other hand you have that record of Boyd Rice and Frank Tovey hitting furniture. I've not heard it, it might actually be good... I'm just looking for an example on that label.

I shall not tolerate any further derisive comments about Les Punks du Surf, thank you very much. My Beach is a hilarious classic!!!

I'm fairly sure that the Universal Records catalogue currently includes several greatest-hits packages contained in their entirety on OTHER greatest-hits packages--some of them with a lower list price.

"Come-onna My House" was a Dr. Demento classic.
