They come from Liverpool, have released two albums: "Dark Spark Corner" (which I haven't heard) and "A Day In July" (which I picked up a while ago and think I may be starting to fall in love with); and an EP called "It's Turning Me On"; all of which have been released on Probe Plus (which I've only previously encountered as the home of Half Man Half Biscuit).

Please tell me everything else I might conceivably want to know about them, concentrating particularly (but not exclusively) on answering the vital "is the first album anything like as good as the second one?" question.
