I misread this thread title as "What if Cooter had the stones", and if he did he would've stood up to Boss Hogg instead of just crashing his car and making that "jee jee jee" sound.

Taylor was replacement for Jones. Wood replaced Taylor. Practically every guitarist in the country auditioned for the role. Ron was One of the Lads so he won. Can't really see Ry getting to pursue his world music interests playing second string to Keef.
