Morton Feldman - For Bunita Marcus - the 80 minute version! oh the joys of a cable connection!

jed (jed_e_3), Friday, 14 November 2003 12:12 (twenty-one years ago)

i was amazed to find that 808 State remix of Jon Hassell so quickly but nothing beats finding some guy on soulseek who had pretty much the entire Production House back catalogue

stevem (blueski), Friday, 14 November 2003 12:54 (twenty-one years ago)

and the Ibiza Records back catalogue tho i didn't have time to grab all those

I managed to find some Danielson Familie samples once (i.e. where whoever it was had isolated individual instruments/voices.

Apart from that, finding some Goat Science, I guess Considering we never actually put any records out, that's quite something.

Italo disco pioneer Isadora Juice with "Musica Magica". There was some knittering, so the song obviously isn't available on CD at all.

''Morton Feldman - For Bunita Marcus - the 80 minute version! oh the joys of a cable connection!''

was that the version played by hildegard kleeb? bcz I menaged to find that version (I know the tilbury one is available but i already have that 4 disc set).

there are so many out of print/expensive things I've managed to get through slsk.

But other feldman's include kronos with aki takahashi piano and string quartet and I'm currently trying to get 'for philip guston' (4CDs).

I have that kronos/takahashi one i could pass on to you (somehow, im not on soulseek so im not sure how i would do it). The Bunita is untagged (as far as the performer goes) but i am sure it's Tilbury.

jed (jed_e_3), Friday, 14 November 2003 14:24 (twenty-one years ago)

oh you already have the kronos/takahashi thing. i get it.

I found a bunch of Cafe Jacques on Audiogalaxy once. I had a hard drive crash and lost all of it, and still look for it on slsk and limewire from time to time, but no love. :(

Sandy Kerr - Thug Rock

Confounded (Confounded), Friday, 10 February 2006 23:52 (nineteen years ago)

Laurie Anderson's 1977 "Jukebox" singles. Or at least a handful of them.

Myke. (Myke Weiskopf), Saturday, 11 February 2006 05:32 (nineteen years ago)

The complete back catalog of Holtzclaw, an obscure theater/punk/rap ensemble that performed (to the best of my knowledge) for about five years solely in the middle Tennessee area. This was early audiogalaxy era and I almost lost my shit when I found them.
