I'm not familiar with this iTunes function. Are people just allowed to see your playlists? Or can they download all your songs?

when iTunes is connected to a network, users can choose to share any number of their playlists. when people launch iTunes, their playlists go on line and show up in the column to the left; click on their playlist and you're in. you can't download, you can only stream. but nothing's stopping you from walking over to their office with your iPod, and having a conversation about music while you're at it.

go to preferences > sharing. it is easy. it's made life at work about 300% better the last two months.

that's not bad. if only i could have itunes / mp3s on my work computer :(
