Mixing Mixed CDs into your set: C/D

Okay, so it's a dud. Probably. Right? But I don't beat myself up over it. I mean, I'll never be able to get all the actual 12s I want, say, on the Crydamoure comps, for instance. But I can still rock "Doggystyle," even under less than ideal conditions.

I'm in Little Rock. So while some stuff is around, much is not. And my wantlist is long. Just ordered Silures, for instance, and shipping is an absolute bitch. Just can't afford to do that too often.

I feel your pain, I'm in Dublin but I don't have decks and hence have mostly CDs. So when I DJ it is annoying, I have to try and download tracks etc.

who cares? mixing off cds is fine - no it's great! especially if your good tracks are on cd, then it's even better. selection >> technique.

if you're worried about them looking at you put one big strobe light on the decks facing out and turn out all the other lights. (smoke machine optional but recommended)
