has anyone been a part of neubauten.org, the einstuerzende neubauten site that claims to make "supporters' cds"? If so, what do you think of it?

Its not a claim, its the band themselves trying to operate outside of a label umbrella.

i was a huge fan of this band, UNTIL i joined that site! it was a piece of shit--badly designed and unstable, populated with idiotic people who obscured the relevant ones--and the cd they eventually produced was a piece of shit cd-r, wrapped in an ugly envelope rather than a case of any kind. only after fan uproar did they send a new, actually pressed cd--and it's a piece of shit, too. stupid lyrics (message to blixa--you CANNOT write in English!) and utterly boring music, all horribly produced (this is what happens when the guy you use to mix your live board suddenly becomes your "producer." what a rip=off!!!! the thing cost 35 US!!!!!!
