E.g., "Let It Be...Naked" and "This is Me...Then." See also: "...And Justice For All."

...Come Down

Citizen Kate (kate), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 15:05 (twenty-two years ago)

"Let it be....Naked" should have been called "Get Back".

The new title sounds pathetic and tabloid.

Later That Day...

Dud!! Any... album sucks.

Johnny Badlees (crispssssss), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 15:30 (twenty-two years ago)

Peace Sells...But Who's Buying? is pretty good! I even don't mind the elipses in that title. But amen to the Beatles....this new title just seems so undignified for a bunch of English country gents.

I like the use of ellipsis in It's Great When You're Straight...Yeah!

Vinnie (vprabhu), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 17:26 (twenty-two years ago)

Miss E... So Addictive

Ellipses were the ONLY interesting thing about Megadeth, EVER:

1985 Killing Is My Business...And Business Is Good Combat
1986 Peace Sells...But Who's Buying? Capitol
1988 So Far, So Good...So What! Capitol

Well, okay, that and the fact that John Belushi's National Lampoon Lemmings metal parody band was *also" called Megadeth. Either way, though, they are the undisputed kings of ellipses-album-title rock!

...Baby One More Time
Oops!... I Did It Again

Killing Joke - ...what's THIS for!
Flaming Lips - A Collection of Songs Representing an Enthusiasm for Recording... By Amateurs

"Let It Be.....Naked" is such as stupid title anyway, particularly when "Get Back" would have been the most proper name

(plus, it should never have been released at all, other than as bonus tracks when all the Beatles albums are probably soon remastered)

Geir Hongro (GeirHong), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 20:18 (twenty-two years ago)

"Cybill does it... to Geir Hongro"

nestmanso (nestmanso), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 20:23 (twenty-two years ago)

Linguists predict that in the not too distant future, all phrases and sentences in the English language will end with the suffix "... NAKED".

Eat shit, Sir P. McCartney!

Kjoerup, Tuesday, 18 November 2003 21:15 (twenty-two years ago)

Here's one I like:

Los Lobos, "...And a Time to Dance"

Well, I like the album at least. I'd probably think it was a dumb title if were by Freddie and the Dreamers or Firehouse.

dylan (dylan), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 22:45 (twenty-two years ago)

the use of ellipses would make Anal Cunt song titles even better than they already are

J0hn Darn1elle (J0hn Darn1elle), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 22:48 (twenty-two years ago)

"All our fans...are gay."

J0hn Darn1elle (J0hn Darn1elle), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 23:02 (twenty-two years ago)

"...Till Then", Danilo Perez's '03 alb.

(Haven't heard it yet. Said to be good)

Trailing ellipses in album or song titles can REALLY FUCK UP your mp3 filing system. In fact, they can create un-deletable files and/or folders on a PC. My example - "The Beginning Stages Of . . ." which I love.

southern lights (southern lights), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 23:27 (twenty-two years ago)

However dud it is in LP titles, it's worse in band names: ...And You Will Know Us, etc.

nickn (nickn), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 23:47 (twenty-two years ago)

hours...

willem (willem), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 12:26 (twenty-two years ago)

Pigface, 'Welcome to Mexico...Asshole'. I love this title. 'Under the Volcano', 'Bring Me the Head of A. Garcia', NAFTA, what's it mean?

dave q, Wednesday, 19 November 2003 14:54 (twenty-two years ago)
