The Whip is a kickass band who put out a 7" on Wantage, features Joe Preston and the (late) drummer of Karp, who died in a boating accident (I think)


Side B in particular rulz. Get it off slsk.


Th tragedy is that the drummer is dead.


Whip (as opposed to THE Whip) is a singer-songwriter from NYC with ties to Secretly Canadian, and leads a pretty good indiefolk band called Timesbold.


Not as good as The Whip, though, but, then, few things are.
