I know, big deal, right? But think of the MEGA-JAM at the end!

The induction of Prince is a sign that RRHOF is slowly approaching the present (or maybe that us children of the 80s are getting old) :-)

uh...what about Elvis Costello this year, I mean, EC still occassionally puts out interesting records...

Purple pearl necklaces for everyone!

>EC still occassionally puts out interesting records...

Beyond your indefensible assertion that he's good now, the use of the word "still" implies that Elvis Costello was interesting at some point in the past. This is a statement which totally baffles me.

Some of last year's inductees didn't take part in the jam ... do you really think Prince would?

rw, Thursday, 20 November 2003 21:18 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm sorry, do you have any idea of what Prince does?

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Thursday, 20 November 2003 21:21 (twenty-one years ago)

Actually, the really interesting thing will not be the closing jam, it'll be Prince and Larry Graham walking around to every table at the dinner, passing out copies of the Watchtower.

Possible Collaborations:

"Diamonds and Pearl Necklesses"
"I Could Never Take the Place of Your Sharp-Dressed Man"
"She Loves My Automobile, which by the way is Little Red Corvette"
"Jesus Just Left Chicago (Housequake mix)"
"Sure Got Cold After the Purple Rain Fell"

I'm with Phil (sort of): North aside, even, the notion that Elvis Costello hasn't laid a giant egg for about 10 years now is not worthy of discussion.

Still no Kraftwerk, eh?

peepee (peepee), Friday, 21 November 2003 14:09 (twenty-one years ago)

Bob Seger too. Wow, maybe a 30 minutes Night Moves at the end. Whewee.
