mixmag cd for december : freelance hellraiser.

aw well it is the end of the year edition. i guess it's okay to buy it this once. anyone heard this cd yet ? from the glance i took it looked like some screwed up 'best of the year' thing ?

a good sign for the future either way though this cd i think.
sure beats another trance disc.

anyone else still in mourning over the demise of muzik ?
am especially reminded of what a shame it is
as december arrives, as 2002's
'end of year' edition was just so great/ on the money.

My first issue of Muzik turned out to be the last issue, although I have a couple of the other cover CDs. That Cassius mix is awesome. If the Freelance Hellraiser mix features anything even vaguely like "Ballad Of A Hellraiser" I shall be compelled to buy it.

he was one of the main people doing "bootlegs" ie mixing vocals from one track with the music from another
until the sugababes did freak like me,which was a "cover" of a bootleg
produced by richard x, the other main bootlegger,the best know bootleg was probably freelance hellraisers stroke of genius,which was the music from hard to explain by the strokes with the vocals from genie in a bottle by christina aguilera

he did the best dj-ing i've ever seen @ RIZLA tent FRIDAY night last yr's glastonbury. unbelievable. erol, freelance h, audio bullys... that was some night looking back.

No, the Cassius one was the last with OuKast on the cover. I have the DFA one as well, pretty good but not as good as the Cassius one.

I picked up Mixmag for the CD which is pretty ace on two listens. Not the kind of stuff I'd have expected from the FH but I think Mixmag just chucked him their favourite songs from the year and told him to mix them up.

I cannot stress how much people need to hear "Intro (Ballad Of A Hellraiser)". It's on stevem's site, base58.
