Music for toddlers?

I am going to my friends' son's 1-year birthday party, and I'd like to burn a cd with music that small kids might like.
Any suggestions?
Do you have kids?
What makes them dance? (My friends' one's a dancer, he loves that)

Preferably not "Kids music", ie nothing from any Disney shit.

My daughter, just turning 2, loves Beyonce's "Crazy in Love" because she can sing along with the "Uh-Oh-Uh-Oh-Uh-Oh" part. She dances to it too. Kids will dance to the same stuff that adults dance to and more because they don't have any inhibitions. My daughter once danced to the sound of me dialing the phone.

my younger brother loved the macarena for at least a year when he was around four or five - despite my futile attempts to sway him toward more tolerable dance hits.

I've heard good things about "Build Me Up Buttercup"

I think you should start with early Shonen Knife. Super catchy songs about animals and food from three cute Japanese girls. It always worked for me, and I've got three kids! Boney M and Midi Maxi & Efti are also excellent artists with repertoires to explore.
