winter nationwide tour
TRICKY WOO announce plans for 2004 album, late winter nationwide tour
After an almost two-year silence, seminal rock and roll explosion TRICKY WOO are back at work. Original
members Andrew Dickson (vocals, guitar) Adrian Popovich (guitar), Eric Larock (bass) and latter day
member Phil Burns (Hammond organ) are rehearsing new material for a fifth full-length album. Scheduled for a
late springtime release, the as yet untitled record will be a high voltage mixture of boogie rock and roll and R&B
fireballs. Concise, infectious songs built around the band’s trademark white-hot riffs of thunder. Described by one
insider as “Otis Redding backed by Vanilla Fudge, kicking out a rendition of Alice Cooper’s ‘School’s Out,’
delivered with that explosive seventy cylinder drive only Tricky Woo can handle.” In a word, Righteous!
TRICKY WOO will take their legendary, stage-pulverizing live show on the road in late February/Early March
for a nationwide tour. In addition to the new material, the band will perform an incendiary selection of re-vamped
hits from all four of their albums.
TRICKY WOO wish to thank the legions of rock and roll soldiers for your support over the years. Your
continued words of praise, your patience and your determination to spread the gospel of the Woo is truly
appreciated.
