'word up' was beer-commercial annoyance in '80's; now it seems like absolute genius. i want to hear it again and again and again and again and again and again, even though the same experience 15+ years ago was torture.

OK, one thing I do like about the 4nb song is the really awful DJ mix starting right in on the high note. That raspy howl sounds a lot less "real" and a lot more hilarious when it gets moved to the song's first second.
