Is 'There goes concord again' a moment of sublime perfection or annoying novelty bollocks? If the former, did they ever do anything as interesting again? In fact, did they ever do anything again?

no, as far as i'm aware they did nothing else one of ATNH was a tutor at an art school i went to many years ago i think he still teaches there

I've bought their album. It's frightening, but quite enjoyable in an idiot-savant kind of way.

is c.d. available ? 'songs to protest about' or something like that.
May I have one? Please let me know how much.... or send one free, like last time, with Concorde. Only joking.

no, please. i had this as the first song on my iPod for a while. it kept playing when i didn't want it to. i grew to loathe it passionately.

grimly fiendish (grimlord), Tuesday, 23 May 2006 08:31 (nineteen years ago)

Hey, I lived in Windsor. This song said lots to me about my life!

through net curtains.. I can see them...

mark grout (mark grout), Tuesday, 23 May 2006 08:49 (nineteen years ago)

I put their album on my iPod. I love when random songs from it come up. BABOON CLIMBS THE MOUNTAIN! BABOON CLIMBS THE MOUNTAIN! and so on. The one about the twins on the bus is good too. The "HEY YOU! HEY YOU!" is however a bit too mental.

They are an odd band, the bloke's music is very muso-y and quite engaging, while the woman almost speaks in tongues on most of the tracks.

Well, i have it on order, sort of. The CD, I mean.

It's one of those songs Amber and Alice love to hate.

Mark G, Tuesday, 9 November 2010 15:28 (fifteen years ago)

One time:

Amber: Can I have a bit of yr chocolate?
Alice: Unlucky (bites a bit)

(a bit later)

Amber: Just a small bit?
Alice: Unlucky again...

(five mins later)

Amber: Oh go on!
Alice: oooh LOOK! There goes unlucky agAIN!

Put that in yr 'outnumbered' script, you BBC writer!

Mark G, Tuesday, 9 November 2010 15:30 (fifteen years ago)

(tbf, Amber had a bar of choc as well, she'd polished it off earlier)

Mark G, Tuesday, 9 November 2010 15:31 (fifteen years ago)

dang, was outbid.

Mark G, Wednesday, 10 November 2010 10:31 (fifteen years ago)

Maybe the only song I can actually enjoy from this band, and boy is it a doozy.

None more patronising and smug than this awful hate-filled song.

zappi, Thursday, 11 November 2010 23:51 (fifteen years ago)

self awareness not one of his strong points, then
