Gaffa & The White Stripes???

This is kinda weird.
At the newspaper, where I work as a freelance music critic, I was sent a letter. For starters, the letter came in a re-adressed no postage envelope, originally destinated for a bank.
Inside, I found a large, A3 piece of paper with a nothing but a large piece of gaffer tape stuck onto it, and the words: "Gaffa & White Stripes". No return adress, nothing else, nada, zilch.
I haven't written anything about The White Stripes in the paper (I mostly deal with hip hop & electronica, but I did review the new Strokes record), and even though I generally agree with a lot of the critique against their approach to music making, I kinda enjoy their latest album.
WTF? WHAT SHOULD I MAKE OF THIS???

maybe Gaffa is the new Kid 606, has done a glitchcore cut-up of 'The Hardest Button To Button' and this is phase one of the promotional campaign?

Well, I wouldn't know what to make of that, I love the video for 'The Hardest Button To Button'.

Gaffa could be a subtle reference to Kate Bush. Maybe she's teaming up with the Stripes. Seven Nation Army Dreamers!
