both songs have the same bassline.
one has islamic death trumpets the other a g-funk clit whistle,lubed up.
one is a classic single about shagging birds the other an eloquent dark street-poem dealing with police brutality and racism.
one is really fat the other really tall.

which version of the bassline do you think is best? is it a party bassline or a introspective thug bassline, or can it serve both purposes?

I suppose it's pushing it a bit, but I swear an RJD2 track uses the oriental sounding guitar from Ghostface Killahs 'Mighty Healthy'. RJD2 makes it sound almost cheery.
