No, this thread has nothing to do with out own Roger A. Rather, it is about the fact that I am confused.

In a number of reviews, I have read that Cody ChesnuTT's 'The Seed' - which I am pretty sure that we all know by now, thanks to The Roots - is abouth faithfulness and loyalty. B-b-b-but these lines are in it:

"I just wanna fertilize another behind my lover's back" and "I just wanna fertilize another against my lover's will".

I am aware of the fact that irony and untrustworthy protagonists exist in pop songs, but please tell me where it shows, if anywhere.
