I am placing my cynicism and sarcasm to the side for a brief moment and giving thanks for a few of my musical highlights of the year so far...
Join me! (jesus, I hope this thread doesn't stall and die right away. How depressing). Anyways, on with it...

~ This damned board... the best balm for the soul-sapping eight-hour ache of the day job.

~ Playing "Don't Be Scared" by A.R.E. Weapons at top volume while shooting down the 101 freeway in the middle of the night with the windows down (okay, Ben... don't get any more emo with this shit, you're starting to sound all livejournal-y)

~ Seeing a bunch of shows by this awesome local L.A. band called Silversun Pickups, and remembering what it's like to discover a band you really like before they blow up and stuff (christ, now I'm kicking a full-on Friendster testimonial. Oh, well)

~ The glory of the iPod

~ Albums or singles by t.A.T.u., Q and Not U, Moving Units, Radiohead, etc. etc. etc. etc...
