For anyone tempted to buy the just-released Scott Walker box set '5 Easy Pieces'... don't. The third CD has sound only on the right channel - I've been back to Virgin megastore to complain and all their box sets have this fault. Plus the sound on some of the other CDs is poor. What a cock-up.

No, it's not a dodgy speaker, if you go to the Scott Walker yahoo list I note they're also talking about this problem so it must be pretty widespread. Doesn't anyone listen to these things before putting them out?
