has the track been given a bowie writing credit. heard today on radio. couldn't believe my ears.
not good. not bad. just pop music. but considering the roots of the melody/style far more interesting to me than it should be.

Glad someone else noticed this. THe first time I heard it on MTV or whatever I laughed out loud, and tried to explain (in vain) to my wife about "Andy Warhol". Really, Bowie should get a credit - but then all credit to Rachel and her team for such a great lift. Sometime should have thought of that, and the title, years ago.

but it's the worst song in the history of recorded sound!!!! ohmigod, tho, i didn't kno we cd blame bowie ('cept maybe indirectly for the pun). terrible pseudo-sophisticated trash. in a bad way.

... or 'fools' for that matter.

...or 'Blue Afternoon'.

The sample/replay/whatever of 'Andy Warhol' is credited on the LP. I imagine it will be on the single sleevenotes too. I actually think the lyric-sample tie up here is quite clever.

but one assumes that the tie up was not driven by the Pop Princess herself ?
