TS: Prince's 'Lady Cab Driver' vs. Bob Dylan's 'Mr. Tambourine Man'

Listening to the former last night got me thinking how similar the song's theme and actual wording were to 'Tambourine Man', ie. take me anywhere cuz there's nowhere for me to go home.
However, while Dylan seems to yearn to lose himself in a quasi-spiritual (or drug-induced) trip, Prince's journey is rooted in orgasmic sexual oblivion.
I also see Dylan as a lonely figure dancing on an empty beach, while the traffic sounds on 'Cab Driver' evoke an another kind of emptiness, ie. the urban jungle.
Oh and both songs are total classics, so I won't take sides..
