God damn, this is a pretty good pop punk / emo / whateva you wanna call it album.

It's just like Weezer circa Blue Album / Pinkerton, except fronted by a girl. I thought I'd gotten all this stuff outta my system when I was 15, but clearly not :)

I am with you on this one, Mil... huge guilty pleasure of 2003. I'd like to say I don't believe in guilty pleasures, but I definitely feel some guilt over this; I mean, they're pretty Warped Tour second stage in vibe and presentation. But, jesus, the hooks are GIGANTIC.
"Up To You" is definitely one of my singles of the year.

It's true that some of the lyrics are pretty embarassing (the opening line "I'm rocking a BMX bike / I'm rocking a musclehead car / I freestyle wherever I go" would be enough to put most people off), but like you said, virtually every song on here is HOOK CITY.

It's not so much guilt for me as just complete surprise, 'cos I normally loathe all these derivative emo / pop punk bands.

i still listen to Damone. Damone singer has the band Swivel now. i dig it.
