I listened to a preview of the *latest* record, and was sorely disappointed. WHERE ARE THE BEATS?

The first Zoot Woman album is great too, if you like fairly wet 80s production, and I guess I do. Information First is probably their best song.
Yeah I'm not so curious about the new album cos basically I read in Jockey Slut about how they'd abandoned their silly 80s phase and made a serious non image based album, it sounded fucking awful! I mean why would they do that? Grey Day is a little too Death In Vegas and not enough Hall and Oates.
Definitely get the album donut bitch!
Oh and the remix Mitch is talking about is wicked too, it's Jacques Lu Cont under his Paper Faces alias, really like that.
And I can only hope we're due for a storming LRD album obviously, sooner the better.

I never quite "got" LRD though.. I just love the "Music Makes You Lose Control" single with the version with the very Watt-ish bass on it and is kinda fast and sparse. "Music makes you lose control (control control control control control control ..."

LRD's best track is the Nik Kershaw track I reckon, either that or the Whirlpool Productions remix.

The new one is indeed very dissappointing, only "Hope In The Mirror" comes close to the quality level of the debut.

This new song is good, at least for the first listen:

"it's automatic" is the only song I ever really liked by them. everything else seemed to be almost what they were going for...
