msn.com: Ozzy, by his own admission, was abused as a child

Wow. That at least explains the rampant acid use (among other things) back in the day. Now that, according to him, he's finally coped with it, he should try and become more vocal 'bout the ills of sexual molestation. It would actually be worth something, seeing as people would probably listen, as opposed to all the whoring Sharon has done pimping the family name and her own talk show franchise.

Rampant acid use by a 60s/70s rocker?! No!

I suppose there may have been a link, but drug use among rockers isn't much of a symptom of abuse. :-)

Well...how 'bout using it pretty much every day for two years nonstop? Surely you've heard the legendary tales!

Indeed I have!

Ozzy has an excuse for everything now that he's made a pile or
two peddling his infirmity as teen entertainment. When he finally professes to be embarrassed by the image of himself as a tottering, trembling old man sliding into dementia on TV, he sends out press releases claiming it's the prescription drugs he's on. And if that's not suitably convincing, he alleges he inherited an unspecified neuro-degenerative illness from his parents.

"The tremor and dementia aren't my fault! Neither is the incontinence. I was kicked in the bladder by Iommi in 1974.
And I'm only using a wheelchair because the insurance people
at the record company don't want to risk me falling down."

No truth to the rumor Osbourne has signed another book contract
with Morrow for "How to Grow Old Disgracefully: Parkinson-like
diseases, public attitudes and the entertainment value of
shame."
