I know these search and destroys are old hat and all, but godammit, i want to know about D'Arcangelo. Shipwreck is ok, but the track on the Braindance compilation, Diagramm VII (80's remix) is really lovely. There seems to quite a large back catalogue across a whole bunch of labels. Where to start?

D'arcanglelo is always great, 2 italian brothers, released stuff as MonoMorph in 96, and stuff on Suction, Orange and rephlex records recently.

the first release on there own label, Engine Records is a good place to start, really strange mix of hardcore/gabba rhythms and delicate melodys.. the latest Orange records release is similar, the tracks on the recent Snow Robots Compilation are a little more subtle..

D'Archangelo are good, their shipwrecked album comes across as being distinct in a genre where there is a danger of everything sounding the same. Yo JK does Cake still do the hoovering to Shipwreck?
