Is anyone gonna remaster/re-release The Living Legend or do I have to do it myself?

Is it available anywhere (on CD)? There appears to be a decent compilation somehere, too.

didnt baby huey only make one album?

dickvandyke (dickvandyke), Friday, 27 August 2004 12:14 (twenty-one years ago)

Yes there is only one album that he made or more to the point was made for him.
He only recorded a few songs and the rest were fill ins.
There's a couple of comps around that have one each of Baby Huey's early songs that don't feature on the album .
From the mid 1960's.

BACK TO THE SAM COOKE THREAD

Sam Cooke : "A Change Is Gonna Come" classic or classic?

Or if you want to see the release details

Yeah I have both the album (re-release) and the CD.
Tell you what .. it was great finally getting "The Living Legend" on CD.
I'd love to find a quadraphonic 4 track reel to reel tape of it.
Thats if there was ever one released.

Herman G. Neuname, Saturday, 22 March 2008 21:18 (seventeen years ago)

I think you can get the vinyl for only about $3-$4 more, so.. there's that.

ian, Saturday, 22 March 2008 21:56 (seventeen years ago)

the title track on that black nasty album is the SHIT.

El Tomboto, Saturday, 22 March 2008 22:17 (seventeen years ago)

The whole album is pretty good. Lots of good obscure stuff like this around. Would love to find more. Mid-Late 90s shopping at Tower Records in Glasgow was great as I knew a guy who worked there who used to get in stuff he knew I'd like.
