Amazon's editors have it listed as a top 100 cd of 03. I have heard some clips and was glad it was on an empty stomach. Maybe I am missing something, classic or dud?

It's very, very boring indeed. Ryan Adams supports him, plays on the album and, if I recall correctly, wrote/co-wrote some of the songs. Which all sound like Ryan Adams lite (and just how lite is that?).

definitely dud...some decent lyrics i remember, but it all just sounded inauthentic as hell, worse than anything ryan's ever put out.
