Was just reading Trousers guide, and the reviewer seemed really stoked on them, insofar as to say " This is the decline of western civilization. " Any listeners care to share their thoughts on their small, yet decade& 1/2 spanning catalouge ?

I don't know if you can still get their Matador release (it was one of the first five records Matador put out, waaaay long ago), but if you can find it used, it's pretty cool. Only the song about Gary Gilmore (i think it's called "Piss Your Pants") is as cool as "Son of Sam" which is pretty fucking righteous.

They were interviewed in a later issue of Forced Exposure--lots of discussion about life, not so much about the music. The soundtrack of "Mondo Manhattan" has side one take up by the band--pretty hilarious in my opinion.

One of the best dub-metal bands ever!!

I listed *Mondo Manhattan* (the Lost Records album) #124 out of 500 "metal" albums in Stairway to Hell (where I wrote 250 or so words about it, too), and I believe I put it in my top ten (a few spaces above Appetite for Destruction!) when it came out in 1987. (I don't understand this comment, though: "The soundtrack of "Mondo Manhattan" has side one take up by the band" -- On my copy, they do BOTH sides. Unless we're talking about two different records.) *Perfumed*, the later Matador CD, is a compilation of stuff from their whole career, dating back as far as the late '70s, and worth hunting around used CD bins for. I got mine for three or four bucks a couple years ago.
