I'm borrowing this thread to find out what the backing track/sample is from in the GZA's "Stay in Line." It sounds like a guitar line I've heard somewhere.

i thought the album could've gained a lot more attention than it did. and 'fame' somehow just didn't work as a single. The lyrics are clever enough, but don't fit the beat. andf there's none of GZA's mysteriousness there. obviously just a personal 'clanger' - not the worst the wu have released.

1. yeah, j-love did a Fame remix using a slowed-down sample of the Fame TV show theme.
2. Guess I have to admit: I like my Wu grimey and difficult. That's why I prefer, say, U-God's album to 'Iron Flag'.
