From the wires:

CROCKED rocker Ozzy Osbourne struggled out of
sedation late last night and upon spying his family by his
side mouthed “I love you.”

Ozzy also gave them a thumbs-up.

The celebrity toper had been "sedated for two days" due to injuries suffered in a vehicular accident on his property.

It was unknown whether Osbourne had been under the influence of
prescription medication or alcohol at the time of the accident.

“There is little chance of [Osbourne] being able to sing ['Changes'] until next Christmas due to the nature of his injuries,” said a
medical person. Indeed there has been speculation that it could be
over a year until the rocker sings again, a disappointment to the
media which found his rendition of Take Me Out to the
Ballgame
while partially sedated much to its liking.

Osbourne's slightly broken neck and hospital stay are "going to help his record sales" said a pundit named Mr. Nasty on Radio 5.

The Osbournes are well known for the professional quality of their health plan. They paid over half a million dollars to their
Los Angeles doctor to enroll in his personal care program. An additional 60,000 dollars or so went to pay for prescription medications.

Ozzy was getting regular pain shots and was prescribed valium and
dexedrine at the same time. Osbourne has high standards when it
comes to his family's health. He pays a lot for his coverage and
obviously demands a great deal in return.
