I think my CD player is making shit up

I mean, I have 45 or so CDs in there, a handful of them new, most of them things that I know pretty well, and I put it on random play and I swear to god I don't know who 60 to 70 percent of the tracks are. I think my CD player is making its own music and sneaking it in there.
