what software can I use to beatmatch songs?

I have Cool Edit pro 2000 but it won't seem to let me change the tempo of tracks easily. What is good for doing this?

mixmeister is pretty good. you can download a demo from their site, not 100 percent sure of the address but I'm sure if you google it'll show up.

native instruments traktor 2 is pretty good. lets you change tempo and pitch independently of each other and also does the whole auto work out bpm and sync and all that. This is primarliry a live tool.

For non live, acid pro is pretty good.

For a short 8 word question- Acid. The standard is pretty much Ableton Live. You can drag/drop sound files on the fly and it really can tempo match even with harsh tempo changes. They owe me a full registered copy. tekblazer@comcast.net
