Best Terrible Christmas Song

Oh, there are many, but my votes go to Greg Lake's "I Believe In Father Christmas," which at the very least isn't titled "When the Apple Blossoms Bloom In the Windmill Of Your Mind I'll Be Your Valentine".

Or perhaps Macca's immortal "Wonderful Christmastime," which, as much as I love him, sounds like it took longer to record than it did to write. Really, there are many...

my friend always listens to a radio station that plays 3 minutes of christmas songs and then 15 minutes of commercials. he likes the commercials though because they sound christmasy. but whenever im in the car with him, the one song i hear is Wham's "Last Christmas" or the wilson phillips christmas song. ugh.

The Greg Lake is thrillingly appalling.
Shakin Stevens 'Merry Christmas Everyone'.
Mike Oldfield 'In Dulci Jubilo'.
Ron Atkinson 'It's Christmas, let's give love a try'.

Queen's "Thank God It's Christmas" is hardly their best moment, a really stupid and pointless Christmas ballad. Plus the title is a pointless rewrite of Sparks' quite tongue-in-cheek 1973 song title "Thank God It's Not Christmas"

The dogs-barking-jingle-bells song is a classic.

Ron Atkinson's 'It's Christmas, let's give love a try' was released last xmas. He promoted it heavily on Five Live/Talksport. It was played at the end of Ron's Room 101 show a few weeks ago. It's a self-composed piece. He's very out of tune.
