A strange thing - I woke up one morning a few years ago and decided I HATED Creedance. I'd always liked them before - owned all the records, sang along when they were on the radio - but one day, inexplicably, I decided I could take no more. It's nails on the chalkboard to me now. Why?

My guess: head trauma.

Manics to thread.

I was once impressed with prog rock and jazz fusion. Now I find most of it (with the exception of some Crimson) to be pompous and pretentious. Give me the simple intelligence of a Tracy Chapman over any elaborate technic of Yes or Mahavishnu anyday.

When I was in high school I went from really liking Green Day to loathing them practically overnight, mostly in some just-discovered-London Calling grasp at cred. I've come back around to thinking they're a pretty good band mostly after realizing how badly that '90s pop-punk sound can get fucked up, and how well Green Day did it. Damn, they can write a hook.

This one's easy - Modest Mouse
One day I put on The Moon and Antarctica, decided that I didn't care to hear what I.Brock and his annoying voice had to say between the here and now and now and forever and pawned their entire discography the next day. So there.

One day I woke up and looked at my Grateful Dead CDs and immediately thought, "fuck, what crap!" I rushed out and traded them in at Amoeba.

radiohead. i decided i had to be honest with myself, that i don't care and, in turn, may have no soul.

sean marvin (williamtell), Thursday, 25 December 2003 18:29 (twenty-one years ago)

Quite the opposite. "No love for Radiohead" = "I am human, not a robot."

What does the reverse of this equation mean?

eleven months pass...
"love for Radiohead" = "I am No human, but a robot."

i think that most people who went to highschool from maybe 96 to 00 realized that they hated fucking SKA-PUNK at a certain point

With the exception of Op Ivy I hated it then and still carry the flame of hatred for it in case it gets a revival.
