What the hell happened to Amil, the 'Diana Ross of the roc'? I loved her spots on vol.2 and vol.3 especially the way she drawls 'nada!!' on the chorus of 'S.Carter', what a great voice. I never found a copy of her 2000 roc-a-fella LP 'All Money Is Legal', did anyone ever hear it? There's something about her voice that transcends the wannabe male-thugs like Rah and Fox, it sounds viscious and threatening yet delicate at the same time. Supposedly her verses on vol.2 were all freestyles. But she just seemed to disappear.

she got dropped from the ROC after getting into beef with jay's personal assistant!

i haven't heard her album either, but the single "4 da fam" ft. beanie, bleek and jay is excellent.

I still can't think about Amil without the phrase "Canibus in drag" popping into my head. apparently now when Jay & co. do "You, Me, Him and Her" live, they changed the hook to "Amil-lion, gone!".

last I heard about was Killer Mike saying he was getting her on a remix of "A.D.I.D.A.S.", and claiming that she's going to "pull a 50" (which I assume means he thinks she'll come back from being dropped from a label and blow up. or maybe just get shot).
