...but you just won't give up the hope that the one dude with that one album will somehow log on again and allow you to complete your download?

Nothing stays there for more than a day or two, because if I can find anyone who has it, someone else is downloading it, else there wouldn't be queue would there? So I search again in a few days, and someone else always has it by then.

Charms Of The Night Sky by dave Douglas took me WEEKS to get, and I was downloading it off about three people simultaneously. It was like someone up there was trying to make me buy a real copy or something.

Nick Southall (Nick Southall), Monday, 29 December 2003 09:26 (twenty-one years ago)

Roger Sings The Hits, the flying nun 10th anniversary cassette-only 500 copies-only thing that consisted of random flying nun bands covering each other. the sole reason i paid for d/l privileges, & i still can't get to the front of the guy's queue. & he's only on in the mornings. bah.

Not exactly "forever," but Charalambides-Our Bed is Green has been slowly downloading for several days. These people really should be obsessive biotches like myself & remain online 24/7 so they can optimise their Slsk experience (and mine). BTW, my Slsk handle is 'liphedd', for you Slskers out there. I dig psychedelic, experimental, improv, free jazz, that sort of thing. If you're so inclined, message me. I'll add you to my list for a browse. Recent much-loved DL's include Gate, Current 93, Otomo Yoshihide, and Mandra Gora Lightshow Society. Cheers, everybody.

I've had the first S.Y.P.H. record queued for weeks. I'm beginning to wonder if this guy is ever planning on letting me have it.
