so that brings on the sales.
excess stocks of :
macy gray (id), garbage (beautiful), new order (republic), beck (midnite vultures),pet shop boys (release) all being flogged off dead cheap (2 quid each cept garbage which was 4 !) ..
ok .. maybe none of them are classics .. but all are stuff i have picked up from time to time .. which one to spin first ?
and having just resigned means i can listen in peace for next 4 weeks.

i have to say .. 'the id' is fucking great as well. didn't expect to enjoy it as much as i did. only 1 listen in so far .. and i am under its funky spell.
i was put off midnite v for years due to it sailing too close to Prince, and general avoidance of beck .. but in retro this is just stupidity on my behalf .. the opening few trax have brought out a crack of grins .. so this once could indeed be a hitter ..
