Electroclash's answer to that awful pop punk cover of "Boys of Summer" - same key, same EXACT song minus the personality. How can anyone like / defend this? What a horrible waste.

(ps I sorta enjoyed that B Sides of A Sides record or whatever it was called so I'm not biased against CoS per se)

i like it - it's a fun record. it certainly ain't electroclash either.

but, the ultimate remake of 'wordy rappinghood' from 2003 was secondo's 'it's ok, i've overstood'.

I absolutely love this record, the whole thing, and Wordy Rappinghood is probably the best track on there. Absolutely amazing! Maybe my fave track of all year.

The bit that goes "...toilet, dirty devil.." is said with such glee, and all those sweet voices.

It IS a pile of shit. far too obvious but that's Chicks on Speed for you - they even covered "Warm Leatherette" - wtf? I find them pretty depressing to be honest.
