i've just placed a mixtape in the postbox, but i fear i may have recorded the entire thing in mono.

my setup= pc soundcard back of stereo via phono leads, but i currently am using a single, as opposed to twin, phono lead.

this makes everything come through as mono, but will it make something recorded onto tape always and forever mono?

actually this question doesn't even make sense to me anymore, i'll understand if it is totally ignored.

so, alternative question:

should i rerecord the tape and post a second copy out, or just let what's done be done?

have you ever fucked up a mix tape and gave it out regardless?

get a cd burner, there was one in the paper here for 8 bucks after rebate.

What's wrong with mono, anyway? No one expects pristine sound quality from a mixtape. Well... almost no one.
