The Thinking Man's Paris Hilton (DarrenK), Monday, 5 January 2004 09:30 (twenty-one years ago)

Shed 7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! C'mon Bill! WTF?

Enrique (Enrique), Monday, 5 January 2004 09:31 (twenty-one years ago)

Enrique - I've been wrong about many things. But 'Why Can't I Be You?' is not one of them.

William Bloody Swygart (mrswygart), Monday, 5 January 2004 09:33 (twenty-one years ago)

Particular highlights being the "Maps", Tatu and Siobhan Donaghy entries.

Nick Southall (Nick Southall), Monday, 5 January 2004 09:37 (twenty-one years ago)

In fairness, I haven't heard it. But then I haven't read 'Men Kampf' either. Just look at the cover, dogg!

Enrique (Enrique), Monday, 5 January 2004 09:39 (twenty-one years ago)

'Men Kampf' being written during Hitler's gay phase of course.

Enrique (Enrique), Monday, 5 January 2004 09:40 (twenty-one years ago)

Best work since Pharrel=julie andrews

Jole, Monday, 5 January 2004 09:43 (twenty-one years ago)

Why do ppl hate Pharrell? Reynolds' end of year thing was all like 'I don't care about the Neps,' but I simply don't understand why. I can see that around 2002 they were perhaps treading some water, but not right now they aren't.

Enrique (Enrique), Monday, 5 January 2004 09:45 (twenty-one years ago)

I think Pharrell is the cool.
I just think that anyone who juxtposes his image with that of Julie Andrews deserves a sound pat on the back.

Jole, Monday, 5 January 2004 11:20 (twenty-one years ago)

'One Horse Town'?!?! and you have the NERVE to hate on Athlete ;)

stevem (blueski), Monday, 5 January 2004 12:54 (twenty-one years ago)

eeek!

peepee (peepee), Monday, 5 January 2004 12:56 (twenty-one years ago)

also, apologies for initially mis-quoting that Broadcast lyric which you may been influenced by in reproducing. it's actually 'and the force feels...' not 'under force fields'. shame.

stevem (blueski), Monday, 5 January 2004 12:57 (twenty-one years ago)

thanks for giving away the end of The Office to non-Brits. :(

scott pl. (scott pl.), Monday, 5 January 2004 14:13 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh come on Scott, everybody knew in their heart of hearts!

Nick Southall (Nick Southall), Monday, 5 January 2004 14:16 (twenty-one years ago)

Also Gervais is an indie kid at heart remember.

Tico Tico (Tico Tico), Monday, 5 January 2004 14:18 (twenty-one years ago)

I missed *both* eps cos I was dahn the boozer, partly due to my rentals not knowing how to use a vcr, so I didn't know the end.

Was it worth it? Will it be on DVD as quick as most ITV serials are?

Enrique (Enrique), Monday, 5 January 2004 14:18 (twenty-one years ago)

Nick, I don't think it would hurt the piece to take out that one line.

scott pl. (scott pl.), Monday, 5 January 2004 14:27 (twenty-one years ago)

Hmph. Alright. Miseryguts.

Nick Southall (Nick Southall), Monday, 5 January 2004 14:27 (twenty-one years ago)

Done.

Nick Southall (Nick Southall), Monday, 5 January 2004 14:31 (twenty-one years ago)

This is great, just adds weight to my theory that Swygart should start dating Anthony Miccio.

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Monday, 5 January 2004 15:04 (twenty-one years ago)

Eeek. Sorry Scott.

William Bloody Swygart (mrswygart), Monday, 5 January 2004 15:12 (twenty-one years ago)

Scott, the episode is floating around the internet.

Colin Beckett (Colin Beckett), Monday, 5 January 2004 18:30 (twenty-one years ago)

Not that it has anyhting to do with your point re: the article. But just in case you were interested...

Colin Beckett (Colin Beckett), Monday, 5 January 2004 18:31 (twenty-one years ago)

no worries, William - of course I suspected that's how it turns out for those characters. (thx, Colin - I've tried on my bad slsk Mac clone thing and haven't yet been fortunate.)

WBS: Good reading, as always!

scott pl. (scott pl.), Monday, 5 January 2004 20:27 (twenty-one years ago)

Do you have to be British to like BlackBoxRecorder? I find them annoying.

I know it wasn't quite like most of the album, but why wasn't Apologies to Insect Life a single? That song is fantastic and about Dostoevsky (I think) at the same time!

How can DMX keep making the same song over and over? How can some people continue to eat it up?

Finally I know Ignition is really nice, but I can't help picturing him taking a dump on a 13 yr old when I hear R Kelly now and so must change the station.

christhamrin (christhamrin), Tuesday, 6 January 2004 00:00 (twenty-one years ago)

Nutrition Remix

stevem (blueski), Tuesday, 6 January 2004 00:08 (twenty-one years ago)

He didn't dump on her, he pissed on her. Give the man some credit.

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Tuesday, 6 January 2004 00:30 (twenty-one years ago)

Yep, Apologies To Insect Life was a double A-Side with 'Carrion', but it was Carrion that got played on the radio, and the way I was annotating this list meant putting Apologies in as well would have looked rather confusing due to proliferation of slashes.
