Beachboys - Smiley Smile/ Wildhoney

Scott Walker - 3

Todd Rundgren - A Wizard, a True Star

The Soft Boys - Underwater Moonlight

Van Dyke Parks - Song Cycle

This is after having bought a string of new stuff.

I'm a little wary about the Scott Walker one. This is my first Scott Walker album. I haven't listened to it yet.

I also don't know what to expect with the Van Dyke Parks album. Haven't listened to it yet either.

3 is great but 4 is pretty much my favorite. Song Cycle rules, and you don't have to be good at math to enjoy it.

whim purchase (3 for $15 at HMV)

Front 242- still & raw
Feeder- comfort in sound
808 State- outpost transmission (kinda sucks but still willing to listen to it more)

My last purchasing session (online, good old Sanity in Aus/NZ) was for Jeff Buckley, live at Sin-e 2CD plus DVDEP, and Television Marquee Moon remaster.

Last shop bought = The Rapture (finally)

I have the Faust Wumme years reserved for me, £2...

I bought Curt Boettcher's "Misty Mirage" yesterday, in a sale, it's pretty rubbish.

I envy anyone hearing "Smiley Smile/ Wild Honey", "Scott 3", "A Wizard, a True Star" or "Song Cycle" for the first time.

The words "Todd Rundgren" are evocative and sad, as if they belonged to a cousin with a small failing business.

Deliverence, One Touch, Aaliyah, Boy In Da Corner; all to 'replace'/'supercede' downloaded copies.
