If Valance had been in Thee Headcoatees and Golightly in Neighbours then Valance by a mile. As it is, H.V.'s first album was full of good tunes but 'State of Mind' was a bit of a dud - nothing to compare with 'Down Boy' on there. It's a shame she's been eclipsed by Delta "Celine Dion" in Australia, methinks she is doomed to follow in the footsteps of Dannii.. number 57 with a bullet.

On the other hand 'Truly She is None Other' was one of my musical highlights of last year, but there is the question of that duff track on the White Stripes album.

I'm going with H.G., but only just.

i wasn't impressed with 'Down Boy' at all and think 'State Of Mind' is a much better track. i like 'Well It's True That We Love One Another' as well.
